Welcome to the
DAF Owners Club website

The DAF Owners Club is open to anybody who owns, or is interested in DAF Cars.  All DAF cars featured the unique Variomatic belt-drive CVT transmission.

Viewers and visitors to this site are welcome to join in on the chat and discussion boards.

The Club is based in the United Kingdom, and also has members in DAF's home country, The Netherlands. We also have members around the world.

Full membership costs £30 per year and runs from April to March, so if you join mid year, you pay pro-rata. Members receive a magazine three times a year along with interim newsletters. To join the club please complete the application form and send to the address shown.  If you have any membership queries, please email us.

There is a Club Spares Scheme, which helps members to obtain routine and essential parts for their cars. Technical advice is given, either as magazine articles or individual answers to questions.

Private advertisements are printed free of charge (as we want to encourage the saving of DAFs) and anyone can place their own on-line advertisement on this site.

Social events and meetings are held around the country, giving opportunity for DAF enthusiasts to meet. Event reports appear in the magazine.

September 2009

Next club magazine is now out and should be landing on members' mats very soon.

Latest event was held on 27th September at the Newark Autojumble, Nottinghamshire.  Very pleasant gathering.  Pics on the discussion boards.

July 2009

A very interesting and amusing group test in the August issue of Practical Classics, comparing the DAF 33 and other small European peoples cars.  Well worth buying!  (OK, the DAF Editor is declaring an interest because it was his 33 used)

10/7/09 The latest issue of Classics Monthly magazine is featuring the DAF 66 in its Buying Guide.  Very good write-up including a picture of one of our members' cars.

The Cars in the Park weekend on 4th and 5th July at Lichfield. was very successful with a good showing of DAFs.  See the discussion boards for more info.

The annual concours competition was held on Sunday 28th June.  A good turnout of DAFs on a very warm day.  Some pictures here.

The AGM of the club was held on a sunny Sunday in May at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre.  A good turnout of members and DAFs.  See some pictures here.

12th February 2009

Classic Car Weekly, the excellent down to earth classic car publication, have an article about our January Peak District event in their 12th February issue.  They also used a familar picture!

January 2009 and an event!

A cold day in the Derbyshire Peak District on Saturday 10th January.  Several DAFs and their owners met up in the freezing cold for a delightful pub lunch.
